Tonjie Reese, MAEdx
Founder & Executive Director
Tonjie is a Detroit native, creative, preventionist, and founder of eleven24, a program dedicated to reimagining gender based violence prevention through a lens of liberation and community. Her work in the movement began as a sophomore in high school, when she participated in a traveling play focused on dating abuse. Her expertise has led to numerous training workshops for caring adults on ways to center marginalized youth in their work and developing culturally specific resources for organizations. She has presented at numerous conferences, including the National Sexual Assault Conference and has built partnerships with several violence prevention programs. Tonjie is a firm believer that prevention is possible. Tonjie holds a BS in Behavioral Science and a MA in Education, Leadership, & Change.
Morgan Moore, M.Div, M.A.
Program Manager
Morgan Moore is a mother, aunt, poet, partner, advocate, and doula. Originally from Louisville, KY, she moved to Cincinnati, OH, to pursue a second master's degree in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at the University of Cincinnati. She also holds a BA in Religion from Lane College and a Masters in Divinity from Vanderbilt University. As a sexual assault advocate and preventionist, she has honed her ability to amplify the voices of those who are often silenced while developing strategies to prevent sexual violence. As a Black Feminist, Morgan is deeply committed to educating her community to help end gender-based violence in the Black community.
Erica Mickens, LMSW
Program Coordinator
Erica, one of the many creative forces behind eleven24, is equipped with a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University and a heart for the arts. Erica’s mission is to embrace creativity and build a community that thrives on healthy relationships. Erica believes in creating a space where creativity meets compassion.
Tyana Rasberry
Engagement Specialist
Tyana is a current student at NKU pursuing a B.A. in Criminal Justice while also obtaining credit for her Masters in Public Administration. Her work in advocacy started in high school volunteering in programs like Teen Court and assisting in starting her school's first student council. Her dedication and love for advocacy work goes to everyone, child(ren) to adults, who are seeking safe and empowering communities and relationships, and teaching that having both of those are possible!
Vicent Temba, MA
Education Specialist
Vicent Temba is passionate about empowering marginalized communities and fostering collective learning. With a background in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, Vicent’s work focuses on creating spaces where communities can reflect, imagine, and take action together. Outside of his work, he enjoys simple outdoor activities that connect him with nature and community.
