Tonjie Reese, Founder of eleven24When people feel affirmed, they are better equipped to display personal agency and make healthy relationship choices. This session will address the needs of young people and offer methods of affirming their identities in order to create a sense of belonging within their communities. Through activities and discussions, the participants will develop a deeper understanding of intersectionality, identity affirmation, adultification bias, and promoting personal agency in order to enhance prevention efforts.
